Senator Bernie Sanders’s (I., Vt.) presidential campaign on Tuesday announced that Sanders would participate in an April debate with former vice president Joe Biden, if it is held.
The Democratic National Committee had planned to hold a debate on an unspecified date in April, but the committee has not yet announced a site or broadcaster for the debate.
“Senator Sanders is still running for president,” Mike Casca, communications director for the Sanders campaign, told the New York Times. “If there is a debate in April, he plans to be there.”
Sanders has refused to drop out of the presidential race despite Biden’s delegate lead of 1,214-910. The Sanders campaign suffered successive defeats to Biden beginning on Super Tuesday, and the former vice president has ridden a wave of support from moderates and older voters to take the delegate-rich states of Michigan and Florida, winning Texas by a slimmer margin.

A wise choice. Bidet might bang his head against a low ceiling any day, and knock himself out of the race (although I’d wish him a healthy recovery and retirement).
I suspect he wants the revenue flow into his campaign to keep flowing regardless how large or small. He’s got campaign bills to pay!
I guess Bernie didn’t get much of an offer. He’s holding out for more. I’m glad because Old Joe will have to keep campaigning (or whatever he calls it) rather than resting. He looks even older and foggier on those virtual rallies.

Without Sanders there, it would just be a Biden town hall, and the only people who want that to happen are Republicans, and maybe Mitt Romney. :^)
Crazy Bernie is smart.... I would be surprised if Sleepy Joe shows up, his delegate lead will be more yuge by then.

Bernie should announce: “I’m not dropping out of this race just so the DNC can run their John Gil candidate!”
I figure his strategy is that Biden could get COVID-19 and croak, so he might as well not drop out.
Or he could slip on a spot of drool and break his hip.
He refuses to attack Biden so why continue the charade?
He’s likely the last person standing based on Quid Pro Joe’s recent performances.
