Taking cleaning products as medication is almost always a really bad idea.
This is what the CDC itself says about Chloroquine, which reportedly has more side effects than hydroxychloroquine.
They indicate that it is safe for anti-malarial protection for vacationers and others.
Without randomized, double-blind trials on large, graded populations with reviewed and repeatable results we must ignore and even shout down/ban such unscientific predictions
Anthopogenic Climate Change is such an existential threat to the world that we can wave what we just said. Wheee!
Very true - one example is Quercetin, although it is hard for the body to absorb and is usually dosed with something to help it in that regard, like Bromelain.
There are actually people on FR today arguing that this drug is inherently dangerous because chloroquine phosphate is the active ingredient in fish-tank cleaner, and fish-tank cleaner is lethal when ingested by humans. Unbelievable.
Well, it was for one guy...with unreliable dosing and purity
No, what is in the fish-tank cleaner is a different chemical compound than what is in the OTC medication:

Other than the aquarium couple, anyone hear of this NOT working?
Both HCQ and Zinc are antivirals.
I was really only referencing half of your statement.

Needs more “proper” testing before fda will givefull approval.
You have given terrific information. Thanks!
The viral load, when combined with Azithromycin was shown, in a small sample size, to completely eradicate the load within 3 days.
Most of the cases show the administration of hydroxychloroquine to completely turn the corner for the patient within 3 - 4 hours.
If that holds, it's absolutely amazing. Many of these are patients who had given up hope and were prepared to die within 24 hours.
Zinc - without the means of getting into the infected cells doesn't do much. That's why a zinc ionophore is needed.
The fact that hydroxychloroquine is an "anti-malaria" drug means nothing. It's only being used because it happens to be a very, very good zinc ionophore.
Appreciate the link.
Regale my soul. Thank you for the link.
