Not true. As of today, CFR is 0.2% worldwide for ages 10-19. I think there are as yet no reported deaths under the age of 10.

Over half of people under 50 experience no symptoms from this virus. Another 30% have symptoms mild enough that they can be ignored. The vast majority of kids are not at any substantial risk... a more typical flu is more statistically dangerous to them. At a young playing in dirt, harassing stray animals and insects, picking their nose, and eating their boogars helps strengthen their immune system.
