A majority of American voters say they believe the Trump administration is taking strong enough measures to combat the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new survey.
Sixty-one percent of registered voters said they strongly or somewhat agree that the Trump administration is taking strong enough measures to slow or stop the spread of COVID-19, while 39 percent said they strongly or somewhat disagree.
Karlyn Bowman, public opinion analyst and senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, says the poll could be reflecting the "rally-round effect."
"Publics tend to rally around their presidents in time of national emergency, and it's something we've observed in many situations," Bowman told The Hill.

Trump will *never* get anything close to Bush’s post 9-11 poll numbers.
So much for the dims hope that everyone would turn against the guy!! He has done a nice job handling this crap. He has done all he could. No one could wave his hand and cause this crap to just fly away and the world free of it.
Most people understand inherently that if he ratchets it up too much (full lockdown, no domestic air travel, etc.) then the economy won’t recover for years and the country will be cratered. Entire industries will be rendered moribund/dead. You cannot stop economic activity — the loss in revenue/profits is never recoverable.
Two things: The vast majority of Americans will never lose anyone to WuFlu.
That’s going to register in the not too distant future and there will be Hell to pay.
Secondly, there were ways to protect the high risk population in the US that did NOT and do NOT require bankrupting the entire bleeping nation.
Forget WuFlu.

Give it a couple of weeks and the Dems will be saying Trump did too much. They’ll trot out every sob story star they can find, and try to impeach him for mismanagement.
Grocery stores need to have people wash their hands upon entering the store.
Then soaped down grocery carts should be just ahead.

It might be helpful to sell produce only by the bag or other container.

Its all about control. The more control they can get, they get, and when the crap is over, the control is kept and not given back. We lose a little more freedom. Nip, cut, slice a little bit more each time. We are in such a state in this nation now that people will give up FREEDOM for SAFETY. The Bible predicted such. Peace and safety they will cry for. Peace and safety. And that is the cry of the world, led by the UN and the liberals. They know that people will give up freedoms for safety all day long. So, they continue to do it a little at a time. The guns is the only thing they have not been able to pull off. That is their biggest fear. Just one old soldier’s opinion.

one reporter is out with the virus. The reporter is from Fla. So one of the a-holes at the briefing asked Trump if he thought the Republican Governor should have closed the beaches in Florida. In other words the reason one his fellow scumbags is sick is because DeSantis didn’t close every beach in Florida.
The economy will resume a sound basis in about ten weeks.
The Trump stock boom is over. Stocks will be priced on their fundamentals and not on momentum.
Hate to think what the media’s polling numbers are like.
That a significant portion of our country wants Trump to fail, even if it means many will die and our quality of life will fall off a cliff.
