Governor to New Mexicans: Stay at home

SANTA FE, N.M. — Watch the full press conference in the video above.

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced a Stay-at-Home order for New Mexico Monday.

The order will close all non-essential businesses effective Tuesday, March 24.

It will also require all non-essential businesses to work from home.

The order exempts people who provide essential functions such as provided meals for students, health care workers, those working in child care centers and those involved in preserving public safety.

Yep. when the virus gets bigger they are preparing to blast Trump for holding off while “we were responsible and protecting the American people”.

The Dept of Health let the masks in reserve drop precipitously under the former Administration.

Think President Trump will leave the country in better condition.

This too, will pass.

LOL! From all the times we’ve been there it’s spooky. Closest I can think of it flying on 9/21/01 out of Orlando to Atlantic city. Seeing the Orlando airport basically deserted was also real spooky. About 5 or 6 other people on our flight.

I get that. But even if there were ZERO masks in the entire world when this started, um.. FACTORIES .. can produce MILLIONS of anything very quickly.

I mean, this is the end of march, why are we still talking about a lack of masks? there are only 300 million americans, a real factory could produce millions of these a day. That’s just one factory.

Made the grocery run into Abq today. Costco had a lot of items marked “Limit 1” and a short list of stuff that was out of stock. Beef was in stock but in limited cuts.

Smiths was OK, with the same story on meat. No shortage of veggies. Some off brands not available, but Kroger stuff was plentiful.

I guess MLG thinks 83 cases warrants closing down everything. I think pushback will start in a week or two.

Did you notice or know how long she set this for?

Bought a couple extra pounds of pork when Sprouts had it on sale.

Noticed Costco cut back on some items for returns.
