Ken Matthews is fine as a guest host. It’s just that I think Steyn is head-and-shoulders over everyone else unless Rush himself is doing the show.

I agree. Mark Steyn is at a level of wide experience in so many areas, movie, music, broadcasting, politics, history, etc. that he can always keep the show going and interesting. I like some guest hosts that come and go but I guess they are not always available for the occasional Rush job.
