I know about the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, which is an excellent hospital. However I don't know if it's an "excellent cancer hospital" like (for example) MD Anderson. I'm not familiar with the other hospitals you listed.
Yes, I really wish Rush was being treated closer to home.

I am really surprised that Rush would even think of going to NYC at this time because of the virus. Stay in Florida Rush, I worry about you.

I’m surprised he’s not at Sloan-Kettering in NYC or MD Anderson in TX.

I am really surprised that Rush would even think of going to NYC at this time because of the virus. So am I, if indeed that is where he has been going for cancer treatment. Right to the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic in the US! And he said he was staying in a "hotel" as well. I'm very worried about that...

Im surprised hes not at Sloan-Kettering in NYC I think that's where he IS going. Or some other hospital in NYC that is known for its excellence in treating cancer.
But... I don't know for sure where Rush is going to be treated. I don't want to start any rumors.

Sloan-Kettering is THE premiere cancer treatment center. My Dad went there for Stage 3 Melanoma in 1977, and Dr Joe Fortner saved his life.

Wow, that is wonderful!! :-)
Well, if Rush is going to Sloan-Kettering that is great. I'm just worried about him traveling back and forth between NYC and FL, and staying in a hotel during his treatment during this pandemic.

At first I was against Massey’s call for a real vote but then I had time to reflect. Doctors, nurses, grocery clerks, stockers, truck drivers, they all have essential jobs and are expected to work despite the risk. Are Congress critters any less essential to fulfill their Constitutional role? Suck it up Congress critters. Alsa, it’s too late. But watch them all take credit.

Ok. Yes. I know of this daily thread. More often I just listen to Rush for an hour or more, daily. I tend not to listen to replacements except for Mark Styne. That foreigner, GETS IT.
Ps. When he quit smoking cigarettes he thought he was ok smoking cigars. Not a good replacement.

His voice didn’t sound too bad, but his description of his symptoms was worrisome.

Even worse is that now they’re searching for a different treatment. Back to Square One. That is worrisome.
