Of course, there are COVID-19 cases that have not been and never will be confirmed.

The CDC will probably estimate the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths later, just as it estimates the flu cases and deaths.

The actual number of confirmed deaths due to the flu is far, far lower than the CDC’s estimate.

Again, that is also true of COVID-19. In both cases, those who die from the flu or COVID-19 have multiple comorbidities, and are elderly. You want to downplay the risk of the flu, but increase the risk of COVID-19, despite the fact we know that early #s from new viruses are ALWAYS overstated. Remember when they thought swine flu was 5% chance of death, then 1% and finally at 0.02% after they did anti-body testing?
