You’re correct. I had forgotten about this. And, the requirement is that all votes are to be done in-person. Remote voting is not allowed.
Now, I’m not sure where this requirement originates. Is it a Constitutional requirement? Or, is it a self-imposed “rule”?
I read the Constitution many years ago and cannot recall this as a Constitutional rule but.it’s been quite some time so, I can’t say definitively one way or the other.

I can think of three who could very easily put on a mask and get on the Senate floor and vote which makes me think that they are "self-quarantining" so that they don't have to vote. Cruz/Lee/Romney - how convenient.

If McConnell pulls all Senate rules and pushes the bill through then it’s dead in the House.
He has to put together a bipartisan bill for any hope of passage.
A bill with bipartisan support puts the.pressure on Pelosi.
