You’re correct. I had forgotten about this. And, the requirement is that all votes are to be done in-person. Remote voting is not allowed.
Now, I’m not sure where this requirement originates. Is it a Constitutional requirement? Or, is it a self-imposed “rule”?
I read the Constitution many years ago and cannot recall this as a Constitutional rule but.it’s been quite some time so, I can’t say definitively one way or the other.

No Constitutional requirement. Turtle just doesn’t want to change the Senate Rules.

Read below:

Leadership, however, has shot down talk of allowing the Senate to vote remotely. Instead, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said they could lengthen votes and encouraged senators to conduct “social distancing.”

“We’ll not be doing that. There are a number of different ways to avoid getting too many people together,” McConnell told reporters.
