U.S. stock futures opened sharply lower on Sunday night as Wall Street waits on Washington to agree to an economic stimulus and rescue plan to combat the giant economic blow from the coronavirus outbreak.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures fell more than 900 points, or 5%, to hit their “limit down” level. S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures were also down around 5%. Downside limits to futures contracts are implemented to ensure orderly market behavior.
U.S. crude futures also slid by more than 4%, adding to last week’s massive losses.
Futures could be highly volatile as headlines come out of a coronavirus task force news conference Sunday evening and as traders await news on a stimulus bill agreement (or lack of one).
There’s a braking limit on futures? Who knew.

Just heard VP Pence say that 9 out of 10 people tested for Corona-virus do not have the virus.
And markets in china are going up like 5%. They expect to be shipping a lot of medical supplies. At a premium price I’m sure.

The President needs to announce loudly that Pelosi would rather make all Americans die so that thousands of babies can be murdered in the near future. I wonder how pro-choice Americans will be in that light.
Which is why most people do NOT need the test..people dont realize, the flu is still around, even NOW..why do you think they always say “You can get your flu shot now” because the flu virus is still around
Yeah - I knew they had them on the regular markets. I just figured the futures were always speculative and not as reigned in. Makes sense though.
