Thanks for you concern trolling. The American people so far approves of the President’s handling of the situation. What’s he suppose to be, gloomy like you?
Not gloomy but not delusional either.
I think credibility is important.
The president is a confirmed optimist. He doesn’t claim to be a medical expert - he’s chosen smart people to handle that side.
In this case, he has a big responsibility to manage, inspire and reassure.
I think he’s been doing an exemplary job in a crisis for which previous leaders left us unprepared. I’m very grateful that we have him now, instead of what we might have gotten. It seems that most of the American people approve of his performance in this, as well.
