If anything the changes that will be made in the aftermath across the board will be monumental. We have the right guy at the right time and the right team to solidify these changes for decades to come.

An excellent piece. Too much to comment on: the ill-suitedness of Liberal policies to deal with this; our debt to truckers and “simple” stock and check-out people; Trump’s genius to get things done.

This virus is “amoral”, and I’m not talking about its origins. We’re going to find out what combats it.
It occurs to me that Liberalism is a luxury. Times have to be good, and other people have to work hard to support it.

One silver lining to this is the liberal “global warming” agenda is off the table; NJ was close to implementing a disposable plastic bag ban, and it isn’t even mentioned anymore - AT ALL. Individuals opposed to it were very vocal about how unsanitary it could be re-using cloth bags...
The plastic bag bans and their unsanitary replacement is one of the issues brought up in the article. I believe the policy is still in place in NYC, what will be Ground Zero.
I noticed that a nearby Dollar General seemed to skirt the issue when my items were bagged in thick plastic bags - clearly marked “Reusable - good for 125 uses”.

As we were hollering in the '90s as Slick Willy was selling us out to the ChiComs. Also, we warned about the danger of a $45bil a year trade deficit with China. D.C. was so responsive to that warning that by the end of the 0bummer Admin the deficit was $450bil a year and China was considered the world's new super power.
Donald Trump has been attempting to change all that for our better -- and has made himself the target of globalist enemies, like Chinese virus pandemics.
