The NYPD is trying to reassure its rank-and-file during the coronavirus pandemic that has gripped the Big Apple but cops feel like the top brass couldnt care less about their well-being. We must be expendable, one police source griped, calling the lack of direction bullst. Police officers across the city have been on edge for days, unsure about the spread of the virus in the department, unclear over what shift changes were coming down the pike and unable to get any answers. It goes to show from the top-down no one gives a st, another source said. Its clear how they feel.

Cops getting assaulted, drenched, and now hung out there during a lockdown. They have no backing from city hall.

The first of many lamentations from NYC.
But anger will come eventually.

Policing in general needs a culture change. I’m not saying that they deserve this, but they work for the people and they should realize it.

This is one instance where unions can be useful. Management (City Hall) will not tell the truth. But the union will tell the truth. They will tell us whats really going on here.

Meanwhile this virus will be gone in a few months, and there are still 25,000 fewer Americans dead from it than Influenza.

“I’m not saying they deserve this...”
Whenever people make statements like this it means “yes, I am actually saying this, but I don’t want to get in trouble for it”.
So how do you feel the cops deserve this?

Go ahead, keep everybody locked up another week. See what happens in the cities. I thought there would be riots in the street by now, but it is coming.

I don't believe many Americans are going to remain locked down for months. I know I won't. This better be contained enough after 15 days, or I think we will see serious resistance.

They have hated Dibasio since he took office and with good reason. he’s done nothing for te city and worse they still don’t know what his wife did with the missing 2 Billion.
DiBasio is a crook, liar and reminds me of Kim UN.....puts out there all the feel good cookies and flowers to New Yorkers as if he’s doing something when in fact he really doesn’t give a hoot about New Yorkers.
