Americans Rejecting Hysterical Criticism of Trump

It seems amazing that the public is ignoring the unhinged criticism and hate directed at the president and are standing behind him in this time of crisis.

The latest evidence for that is a new Morning Consult poll out today that shows a surprising jump in support for Trump's handling of the crisis. Yesterday, Matt Margolis covered similar polls from ABC and Harris.

Given the overwhelmingly negative coverage by the fake news media, complete with blatantly false stories, the fact that Trump’s approval in handling the pandemic is in positive territory is remarkable. One can only imagine what Trump’s numbers would be if Democrats weren’t politicizing the pandemic and he was getting fair coverage from the media.

Today, the morning consult poll shows 53 percent of voters approve of Trump's crisis management, while only 39 percent disapprove. significantly, there was a sizable increase in support from Democrats and independents.

The uptick was largely driven by 8-point bumps in approval among Democrats (from 18 percent to 26 percent) and independents (from 43 percent to 51 percent), while positive sentiment among GOP voters rose from 83 percent to 87 percent.

Of course we are discounting the murder charges brought by 'chair' and others of her ignorant ilk. :-)

People are going crazy because they want answers. Thankfully, the media is now coming around and realizing that the Coronavirus Task Force has at least provided live 2-hour pressers every day for a whole week and more coming up. These are informative and provide clarity.

I want to know: "Where is Joe Biden?" There's a running hashtag on Twitter that asks: #WhereIsJoeBiden

Biden probably sees how Gov. Cuomo gets results - and how he'd be a formidable candidate for VP for the Dem Party, but the problem is that Biden already pigeon-holed himself during the last debate by saying that he'll nominate a FEMALE, thus, if he picks Cuomo, there will be many pissed-off Democrat women! That's the problem with Democrats - they see everything in the tunnel-vision of Race & Gender. And then they get f*cked.

Mentioning Cuomo. Both he and Gavin Newsom out in California have made it a point to show a sense of bipartisanship between themselves and the president during this crisis. Both of them will be running for the presidency in 2024.

People see and hear him.

That is why they scream he should be banned from TV.

They want people to only hear their distorted and untruthful reports and commentary.

I see President Trump not holding back on his personal opinion, and he uses his experience and listens to experts to form those opinions.

For instance today he said he questioned why masks had to be discarded instead of sterilized to be used again. He is always looking outside the box.

Agree.

Can’t stand his politics (obviously) but he has done a credible job during all of this.

Right now, President Trump is leading the effort against the virus. The government is participating, the American people for the most part are participating with their part, Congress seems to be supporting the effort with legislation requested by the President, private enterprise is offering help and doing things to foster the fight against the virus. In other words, almost everyone is helping — with two exceptions: first, certain Democrats (Hollywood, Pelosi, Schumer, Biden, some sports people) who continue with business as usual attacking Trump for everything under the sun and calling him liar etc; and second the WH press corp and the MSM who are continuing to display their bias, lack of ethics and attacks on Trump. Especially the WH press corps. I don’t know what they think the President is holding the daily briefings for, maybe they think it is their opportunity to preen for the camers and ask gotcha questions instead of the purpose of the briefing which is to inform the American people what the government is doing and provide the lates updates on what is happening. Their shallowness is not part of the country’s effort to defeat the virus with the lowest loss of life possible. We can only hope that after this is over and we win against the virus that those groups, especially the WH press corps are condemned for their actions and their obvious self interest at the expense of the American people.

I thought it was a big mistake for Sleepy Joe to pre-select his VP as a woman during the last debate... great leaders keep their options open, especially in politics.

Sleepy Joe’s first chinese virus briefing is this Monday... I think that’s another mistake as well... people will see it as partisan and counterproductive, which it will be.

Geez I hope so. He’s been governor for like 24 years now.

Actually, that’s really my point.

He’s irrelevant. All he can do is squawk from the sidelines.

He looks stupid. Petty.

I believe that the majority of people stopped listening to the agents of subterfuge aka the MSM quite some time ago. It’s very likely their primary audience are the unhinged socialists on the left.
And, I believe a good many of those people stopped listening to the MSM when all the promises and assurances that they are right on the verge of getting rid of President Trump have all come to naught.
Oh, they still want to be rid of him it’s just they have lost faith that it will ever happen and don’t listen to or believe another round of hysterical, “we’ve got him this time!”
