The majority of Americans now approve of President Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic, a change from just one week prior, according to a new Ipsos/ABC News poll.
Of those surveyed, 55 percent said that they approved of the president's handling of the situation, while 43 percent said they disapproved. The numbers were basically reversed from one week ago when 54 percent said they disapproved and 43 percent approved.
Trump's tone and approach to the outbreak has changed in recent weeks, with the president now appearing at daily briefings at the White House with his coronavirus task force. Trump said this week that he knew that COVID-19 was a pandemic before it was labeled as such by the World Health Organization, despite his previous rhetoric downplaying the severity of the virus.
The president has passed two coronavirus stimulus packages that include paid sick leave for certain workers and free coronavirus testing.
Despite the improvement in the approval rating, the public remains strongly partisan.
Nearly 70 percent of Democrats still disapprove of how Trump is dealing with the pandemic, while 92 percent of Republicans approve of how he's handled the crisis.

The CDC sat on a treatment of Coronavirus infections discovered during a prior investigation of the earlier SARS outbreak. The prior work determined Chloroquine and Ammonium Chloride (food additive E-510) each had an inhibitory effect upon Coronavirus replication. This work was published in 2005.

President Trump continuously performs his duties while his opponents contrive the next takedown.
Why are these enemies of We the People allowed to live among us. They should move to one of the communist/socialist bastions espousing their absolutely faulty ideology. Perhaps their “brilliance” would finally provide a remedy. It’s absolutely doubtful that any improvement is possible, but they have the “answer.”
Most reasonable Americans don’t blame President Trump for this and do appreciate his take charge out front demeanor

POTUS Trump should publicly blame the Chinese Communist Party over and over again until it is ingrained in the Brain Cells of every American.

The media along with politicians have managed to create worldwide panic over a flu like variant that is currently not on track to match the 2018-19 season. This is the worst lunacy that I have ever seen or could have imagined. Thanks to the cheerleading from cowardly idiots who claim to be conservatives it keeps getting worse.
I spent 25 years with my crews transporting people sick with contagious illnesses to the hospital in the back of cramped rescue units. I called my best friend who is currently a battalion chief on the department I used to work for... he said that they were exhausted responding to calls from people who in many cases had no symptoms but were convinced that they had the virus.
My wife is a retired nurse and I am a retired fire officer we live in East King County where we have hundreds of thousands of Chinese immigrants. Tens of thousands of them went home for “Chinese New Year” which is like Christmas for them. Over ten thousand of them came back after the “travel ban” by flying into Vancouver BC and taking the bus home. This thing has been circulating here since the end of December. It went unnoticed until it hit the vulnerable people at the Life Care Center in Kirkland which we have visited many times the last few years.
That’s as good a summation of the present situation as I’ve seen.
