Grace Fusco — mother of 11, grandmother of 27 — would sit in the same pew at church each Sunday, surrounded by nearly a dozen members of her sprawling Italian-American family. Sunday dinners drew an even larger crowd to her home in central New Jersey.
Now, her close-knit clan is united anew by unspeakable grief: Mrs. Fusco, 73, died on Wednesday night after contracting the coronavirus — hours after her son died from the virus and five days after her daughter’s death, a relative said.
Four other children who contracted coronavirus remain hospitalized, three of them in critical condition, the relative, Roseann Paradiso Fodera, said.

Seems like some family physiological issue that the virus takes advantage of.
Someone in the family had contact with the first man in NJ to die of the virus, a horse trainer.
It hasn’t been illegal Mexican and Guatemalan stablehands bringing in the virus.
In my experience, the cases I’ve seen, the vector has been the upper classes. International travel, college kids studying abroad, celebrities with large social networks.
Are Italians more likely to die from it? It seems to hit Italy extra hard.
I read where Italians are very family oriented and the younger family members spend a lot of time with Grandparents

I saw something on the cesspool that is twitter pointing out this very thing as a possible contributing factor in Italy. Can’t find it now.
