I saw this earlier. I didn't see anything posted about it.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday opened the door to a sweeping shift in the government's relation to private industry as the coronavirus outbreak upends the nation's economy, saying he would back the government taking stakes in certain companies.
Asked if he would support the federal government moving to take an equity stake in some companies, Trump said: "I do. I really do."

No, no, no, no, no.
No bailouts for ANY company until they ship h1-bs and other visa based job stealers home. No bailout for any company that ships jobs to China.
No. And hopefully this is Trump playing rope-a-dope.
I need to know more about what he is talking about here
Government control. The road to socialism.
Uh oh.
Uh, no. Government ownership of business enterprises never work well. Neither do public-private tie-ups. Doesn’t anyone remember what a disaster “government sponsored enterprises” such as Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac turned into a decade or so ago?
This will make the GM Bailout look like one round on a penny slot machine.
I heard it. Hopefully someone asks him to clarify exactly what he meant. Soon.
Uh...No. No. No.
No more friggin’ bailouts! The market will settle itself, if we keep the damn government out of it; or, get them out of it.
I heard this exchange live. Trump was answering a theoretical. It’s my opinion, that on the spur of the moment he saw an opportunity to jab some folks and spur on the conversation. Not that he had any real interest in doing it.
Trump talking about it could be seen as legitimizing the discussion, but please know that discussion has been going on regularly since obama screwed the share-holders and bond holders in the auto deal, and the Wall Street barons screwed us all in the financial meltdown earlier.
Before we all jump sideways on this, two things to keep in mind:
1. It’s Reuters.
2. The media often lies.
So, maybe some confirmation is in order.
Bernie-Sanders-Disease Alert!
A cure that is far worse than the disease!
“We will be helping the airline industry. We will be helping the cruise ship industry. We probably will be helping the hotel industry.”
don’t like this
If so, I haven't seen a dividend check. I doubt if I see a penny of the bailout it is sure to get.
