So, what does that do to the statements about all the symptom-free “stealth” cases that are supposed to be lurking out there?

I’m still flummoxed by the statements that it’s on packaging for hours to days....wouldn’t the UPS/Fed Ex/etc people be dropping like flies?

There are so many things that we still just don’t know about this virus. Please pray for these people who are on the front lines: medical staff, grocery store workers, delivery people, etc.

These things are not good for me to watch. I am a sympathetic hypochondriac. If I saw a video describing the initial symptoms of leprosy, I would imagine that I had the disease.

Seems like it should be - but I've heard others say that even though it can be detected on plastics for up to 3 days, it isn't likely to be viable on them after 8-10 hours, and even less time for other substances where the detection times are much shorter.
Our area (Biloxi) has a LOT of casinos which draw folks from all over and if it was as bad as it has been said to be, those casinos should have been regular factories as folks obsess of the touch screens and sneeze and cough all over them if they have anything and they never get cleaned off between users - we should be a high-infection hub....but I only heard of one confirmed local case...so far.

Excellent delivery system - many keep hitting them buttons for hours between bathroom breaks where they may or may not bother to wash their hands in the hurry to get back to giving their money away.

It starts with a slight fever and dryness of the throat. When the virus penetrates the red blood cells, the victim becomes dizzy, begins to experience an itchy rash, then the poison goes to work on the central nervous system, severe muscle spasms followed by the inevitable drooling. At this point, the entire digestive system collapses accompanied by uncontrollable flatulence. Until finally, the poor bastard is reduced to a quivering wasted piece of jelly.

wouldnt the UPS/Fed Ex/etc people be dropping like flies? They might be, if:
A) COVID-19 was as deadly as, say, Ebola (it isn't)
B) They were 70+ years old and had one or more underlying/exacerbating conditions (few, if any, are or do)
C) This entire thing wasn't completely overblown, irrational panic
