I saw the set up hospital rooms on news reports where they were caring for patients, they were pretty bad AND did not look very sanitary, I thank God every day I was born in the good old USA!!!!
Italy is a G7 country with world class hospitals and healthcare.
What you saw on TV is the makeshift hospitals that were set up for the overflow of critical and dying people. They are sanitized.
I assure you that the US hospital rooms will look like this as hospitals use basements and offices to manage patients if things get as bad here.
They are usually not like that.
The photos I saw were clearly “ward style” bed set up in non standard rooms. This looked similar to the overflow hospitals in China.
The US will look like that in some places. Not everywhere. But some places.
