Clearly, the patients damaged their lungs themselves as part of a political plot! (Yes, sarcasm.) I used to have excellent lungs as a non smoker until I hit 79, 6years ago.
I developed IPF.
I am now wondering if IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) could be caused by a corona virus, as you end up with lungs like a life long heavy smoker, and a shorter life span than a heavy smoker. -Tom
