Where do you think MDs get their information? It is from people like me, who understand the basic science. It is painfully obvious that Ron Paul may be a physician, but he has no expertise in anything related to epidemiology.

And, are you incapable of doing math? I linked to the tracking website where case data is compiled, you can access and calculate the numbers for yourself and you don’t believe me that the death rate is approaching 4%? Seriously? Pop out a calculator and do your own calculations! You do know how to calculate percentages, don’t you?

Mom, if the data compiled by Johns Hopkins includes data provided by China then it's worthless and there is no reason to do that mathy stuff on it and no way to come up with a fatality rate that can be relied upon, yet. Even the Italian data needs to be cleaned up before it can be relied upon since, as you can imagine, with their health care system being overrun, record keeping and reporting are pretty far down on the list of things they are worrying about right now.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we are not facing a big problem here, we are, but it is still a problem of an unknown scope and none of us, not even an expert like you, know for a fact what we are up against here.

I know many phds who do not live in reality and quite frankly becomes booksmart idiots. I hope through this whole thing you are proven wrong and your 4% number is not based on reality because your premise is simply incorrect. Without having correct testing which is not President Trump’s Fault by the way it was eight years of the previous regime and President Bush before him to blame. Things are not happening the way that the Democrats and the ever so esteemed Dr Fauci, who by the way was awarded a medal by Obama and President Bush, have proclaimed. I only hope the President Trump uses this whole thing to expose the frauds at these people are. And by the way you have not brought up that the virus was purposely released and anybody who does not believe that at this point is quite frankly an idiot. No, I don’t. As a PhD, I know how to discern fact from fiction, and I damned well know when numbers are thrown around without any source of reference or stipulation as to their veracity. What did you get your doctorate in, liberal arts??

In my view you may think you see a trend but all of the information needed to come to a conclusion is not there

Sounds more like wishful thinking or raw extrapolation based on the few sources of real information

In short unlike the Spanish Flu which had a high virulence nature and killed in day people recover from this a lot and it may actually be in the “Flu” column or non reported stack

This is NOT in the Spanish Flu genre at all and flailing opposing opinions by waving you experience is to me nothing more than an opinion that appears to have a pre-set objective in mind
