Gov. Jared Polis announced Monday afternoon that all on-site dining will be prohibited at restaurants and bars in Colorado. The restrictions are part of an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Drive-thru, take-out and delivery services will still be permitted.

The order will remain in effect for 30 days. It goes into effect 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The order follows similar ones already in place in Denver and Summit counties.

What are waiters and waitresses doing, other than not working?

The economic fallout will cause more deaths and misery than the virus itself. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED for the Democrat Party and the Deep State!

There are a lot of people working in the service industries in the United States, who are the ones immediately and financially affected by such enforced closings and shutdowns. No wonder there are runs on supermarkets.

Yes. The damage is catastrophic and widespread. Not to mention the damage done to the constitution and civil liberty

Be aware: If you express your discontent with these decrees, you will be red flagged.

Same thing in Houston. Food deliveries only. No restaurants, no drive Thurs. We can only hope the delivery drivers have been tested for Coronavirus..

Idiots

"Do they get unemployment compensation?"

If it isn't shutdown or have limited hours, an unemployment office will restrict how many people can be in the office at any one time, and maybe even prescreen those who would be allowed in. The rest can gather in large crowded lines outside. Sort of defeats the purpose of all the closings, huh?

For all the legal minds..

what gives states the legal authority to shut these places down?

if they have none, why not just say “nope. we’ll be open”

Most states probably have online capabilities to sign up for unemployment.

Due to the number of potential applicants, special provisions will probably be instituted, too.

A lot of these family-owned businesses will never reopen. They operate on small margins and won’t have the resources to weather a month-long shutdown.

An emergency order that can revoke permits.

You mean you couldn’t see through him already?

Well anyway, welcome to the club. Better late than never

He is not a very consistent person. That’s what confuses people and causes anxiety and contributes to panic.
My big beef was North Korea and his foolishness with Kim and phony denuke for 18 months now, palming it off as some kind of success. But you’ll see that pattern throughout his “leadership.”

The communists are ecstatic over this highly successful chicom virus attack... They pray, to satan, for many thousands of deaths... Particularly since it is the elderly who are the most dangerous to, and resistant to, the current police state that rules us...

Once these pesky old people who have some memory of things like freedom, patriotism, and individual liberty are dead, the communists can finish their job much more quickly...

A thousand years indeed... Actually the countdown clock is already down to about 940-years... Since we are already at the end of the first 60-years...

Most frogs still happy, though...
