Remember, the symptoms of COVID-19 and seasonal flu are almost exactly the same. One wonders if the two aren’t being mistaken in some or many of these cases.

READ THE ARTICLE, Newt is NOT trying to make Trump look bad at all. And he is NOT criticizing Trump. (This is the problem with the matter is that everyone is so hypersensitive and over politicizing everything that even the mention of any of this is seen as a hit on Trump. It is not. If anything, it is a hit on incompetent bureaucracies, on government inaction. Isn’t this really what Trump has been fighting all along?)

This is not some hypothetical discussion. The challenge Italy is facing is because of the number of patients. It isn't how their medical care is organized. They would be overwhelmed regardless, as we will be if it gets that out of control here.
It has no bearing although his wife is working at the Vatican for the US.
But neither does logic which has no bearing on people here who refuse to learn a little, just a little about the ChiCom contagion and its dangers.
Maybe they will if their local hospital is overwhelmed and then incapable of helping their family member.
Not mentioned is that Italy has the oldest population in Europe. Also, many of the early deaths were Chinese workers, mostly men, imported to work in the shoe factories in the North.
