Well I am home and, hopefully, safe.

I will never quite understand the hysteria over this virus but I’d argue the hysteria is more contagious than the virus.

But hey, I’m no better than anybody else. I hear older people must be careful and are more likely to die so I pull the covers over my head and my nails are chipped but to have someone putting their fingers all over my hands? Especially when those people are Vietnamese which means nothing perhaps but their eyes are slanted.

I’m just saying.

The Catholic church has been all over the place. The Pope shut down the Vatican then re-opened it. My church closed all activity through end of March EXCEPT for mass.

I was going to go yesterday, all brave like, but at last minute, since notification that we won’t go to hell for missing mass this week, I decided to stay home.

New York Catholic churches closed their masses.

Hey, we’ll get through this.

We are so lucky....imagine if Hillary were in charge. For one thing she’d be the first to catch the virus and die. But before she’d promise everyone free paychecks for life.

We have a good leader although I strongly suspect this over-reaction is planned to make President Trump look bad.

I got more thoughts on the matter but maybe later.

Our culture needs to change and soon it’s going to happen.

You gotta wonder how we got through the last decade with major virus hitting the country every year, was it luck or just common sense?

I just got back from my local Walmart. I like going there early after I post the Sunday thread because it’s almost empty and it gives y’all time to post your early comments.

Wellllll.....

Not crowded this morning but it must’ve been one Hell of a surge yesterday and last night.

No TP
No Paper towels or napkins, tissues.
Even paper plates gone!
Canned goods and pasta wiped out.
Milk gone. Most of the bread.
Frozen foods and veggies were OK.

I bought a bunch of Walmart pop’n fresh type canned biscuits. Fresh, great low price and use as bread, no?

I was able to get Kitty Litter. My cat won’t use TP, good thing, since there was none.

On the plus side for older folks, we are an endangered species and are, in current culture oriented intelligentsia, to be protected whatever the cost. I think that being older is now a good place to be. We are blessed!
