Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel has been tested for the coronavirus after experiencing a fever and flu-like symptoms, the organization said on Saturday.
“Last night, Chairwoman McDaniel began experiencing a fever and flu-like symptoms, and she went to her local hospital in Michigan for treatment. Flu and strep tests were administered and came back negative,” Communications Director Michael Ahrens said.
“Her doctor determined a test for COVID-19 was necessary given her symptoms,” he said.
The RNC said it is contacting everyone she remembers coming into contact with recently, and she and her family are self-quarantining at home.
The announcement from the RNC came shortly after President Trump announced he had taken the coronavirus test and was waiting for results.

Trump has been in contact with individuals who have later tested positive for COVID-19, sparking questions on whether or not the president should be hand-shaking, quarantined and tested.
When asked about his temperature, Trump told reporters on his way out it was "totally normal."
Trump said his coronavirus test has been sent out to a lab and the results could take one or two days.
Vice President Mike Pence said Saturday neither he nor his wife, Karen, have been tested because they don't have the symptoms or contacts that would necessitate testing. With the president now tested, Pence signaled he's reevaluating.
"I'm going to speak to the White House physician right after this press briefing and Mrs. Pence and I would be more than happy to be tested," Pence said.

Actually no, but we know some have been exposed including some who met with the Iranian who had it.
Damn, since the flu test came back negative that isn’t good..I think from what I hear that she was at the same mar-a-lago event as President Trump last Saturday..I dont know why Trump felt it was necessary to have so many world leaders and their entourage come to see him what was the rush it could have been postponed a few months

Im seeing that pattern is about a 7 day incubation period..she was at Mar-A-Lago last Saturday, she started feeling bad last night, that’s 7 days and she already had fever..today is 8 days and Trump does NOT have fever that would be the first sign so what are the odds that he has it

Seems like a high quality test would only need a psychiatrist of psychologist to ask the subject a couple of salient questions to be able to make a definitive diagnosis.

The Wuhan virus is a direct threat to democrat election hopes. If all of the nursing home patients die their vote harvesting will wither on the vine.
Trump made a BIG mistake having these events, I love him but he made a big error..he has NO idea who these people have had contact with, now is NOT the time to have campaign fundraisers or meetings with world leaders. I look at CPAC as the only silver lining, 1 person had the virus, Ted Cruz met with him, Schlapp, Gaetz, hundreds of others were in his presence and NO ONE GOT IT..not one single person..could the key here be purell?
