Even though the symptoms are similar, reliable clinics like the Mayo Clinic understand the difference. People need to relax and read non-hyped facts from dependable sources like the May Clinic.

There is well established law that this person can be confined against his will. I encourage the public health authorities to do so.

One person *not* being stupid can lead to thousands fewer infections just like one being stupid can lead to thousands more.

I’m already hearing some saying they want to get it now and get it over with, rather than waiting until there are no hospital beds available.
But as far as I know that’s no guarantee to succeed. Not to mention the long-term damage that could occur, even if you recover, and also the consequences for the rest of the population.
It may even be more difficult. Every government and health care individual that has contact with this guy, including the LEO's that arrest him will knowingly be exposed.
I saw a report that the Sheriff’s office was enforcing the isolation in the man’s home.
It will be interesting to see what Beshear does if the number of Wuhan flu victims rises to the point of sapping all of the police resources. I hear the gold vault is empty at Knox. JK.

So someone should be able to threaten the health and well being of countless thousands of additional people and further exacerbate a pandemic - and to say otherwise is "despotism." Truly nonsensical.

Well quite a few people out there are senior citizens and a lot of other people out there who at any given time need medical care that won't be available if this gets completely out of control. That is reality.
