Lombardy is getting hit hard but from what I’ve read COVID-19 is staying there and haven’t spread to other regions such as Rome and Sicily?
Italy has serious problems. It seems like they’re having a lot of difficulty getting hold of them.
Before the Freeper Chicken Little alarmists go haywire, Italy is NOT THE U.S.; THEY DO NOT HAVE THE SAME INFRASTRUCTURE NOR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM. Nor do we know the other factors involved.

Italy as a whole was among the top places for heatlhcare, but no place or system can take a constant wave after wave without having major breakdowns.

Northern Italy and Tuscany is the very richest region in Europe. As modern as here or anywhere in the world.

Actually, in many respects the hospital system in Italy is better. It is better in the north than the south and in Lombardy region even better than that. It is not a third world country...
