Deciding this is the legislature’s prerogative. Yet another lefty judge making political policy decisions without constitutional authority.

Just based on her own personal opinion.

No law. No legal precedent.

Howell...Poster girl for the rot that infects the judiciary... Trump's election victory was a gift from God. If America's good fortune holds up, PDJT will be reelected; and he will continue to rid the courts of the tares like Herdishonor, Beryl.

Pretty sure emergency powers allow a President to tell a judge to take a hike

How can she use the Coronavirus as a legal precedent? nevermind that ...
this is addressed and SNAP waivers are expanded in H.R. 6201 - Families First Coronavirus Response Act - to include removing the work requirement.
Pres. Trump is probably going to sign this, though I wish he wouldn’t. Let Congress override the veto and own it.

Trump just needs to ignore these dictatorial judges. Tell them they’ve worked themselves out of a job.

“Especially now, as a global pandemic poses widespread health risks, guaranteeing that government officials at both the federal and state levels have flexibility to address the nutritional needs of residents and ensure their well-being through programs like SNAP, is essential,” Howell wrote in her ruling, according to HuffPost, which first reported the injunction.
__________

I thought she was a judge, not a legislator.

This is not a legal ruling - this is a policy decision. Our legal system is infested with judges who believe their views on policy should take precedence over those of the president and other elected representatives of the people.
