I think Trump’s plan to buy our oil for the SOR (which Obama gave away) may have some influence,
I don’t get the connection of the SOR to Obama . . . I do dimly recall that he sold some of it, at the time I thought was a risk.Trump’s refilling the SOR at a bargain price is an interesting move . . . the SOR puts the government in position to be a player any time anyone tries to make the price shock upward. The fact that it’s empty now is sort of convenient for Trump to help American oil producers.
