Joy Behar, co-host of ABC’s “The View,” is taking some leave due to concerns over the coronavirus, Variety reported Thursday.
Behar, 77, reportedly announced that she would be taking time off from the show at a Thursday taping of an episode that will run Friday. Like several other live shows, "The View" has chosen to not allow studio audiences until the spread of the virus subsides.
“I’m in a higher risk group because of my age, but I’m perfectly healthy,” Behar said. “I don’t look my age, but I’m actually up there. The number makes me dizzy.”

Behar is 77?
She doesn’t look a day over 110.
If she has not been in close contact with anyone carrying the virus and she has no physical symptoms (cough, sore throat, etc) the probability that she does have the virus is near zero.
Her decision is based on emotions not reason. I’m not sure how she will ever decide that it is safe to go back to work and live her life if she doesn’t trust common sense medical advice. This is a form of agoraphobia that can grip people at times like this.
