The Globalist American capitalist only did what they had to to survive, given the American government trade policy which lowered the import tariffs in the 1960’s.
If you didn’t off-shore, then your competitors would and they would enjoy a price advantage that would drive out of business.
The culprit here is not capitalists but government trade policy.
To the extent that capitalists may have lobbied for poor government trade policies then they are at fault. But the primary responsibility remains with our elected officials. Trump was the only one talking about trade policy on either side of the party.
Don’t think for one second that Democrats wouldn’t cut out the lungs of Republicans to save themselves.

I know someone who got and is recovering from a lung transplant. A guy in his mid-30’s who suddenly developed ideopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Turns your lungs to leather.
It’s an incredibly invasive operation, and requires a lot of surgical and post-surgical care.
I can’t believe that in the current environment of medical emergency in China, they’d have the time or patience to pull that off. Well, maybe for a couple of the elite... but otherwise, I find it hard to believe.
You need a tolerable tissue match, immunosuppressants galore, and an incredibly skilled surgical and recovery team.
OTOH, I could believe that some careless lung experimentation is being performed on prisoners, because that’s where the coronavirus hits. That’s not much better than the purported situation, unfortunately.
This is nonsense. Were this happening the Chicoms would have told us about through their government news agency, just like the absolute truth they’ve been reporting about COVID.
The Chinese just did a double lung transplant on a senior CCP official to save him from COVID-19. Chinese sources report that the source of the lungs was a political prisoner. This was reported maybe two weeks ago.
Disgusting.
But also... “Senior CCP” official. As I noted, such a barbaric procedure would only be carried out for the benefit of the extremely powerful.
I believe that China murders prisoners for their organs. I doubt that a deathly ill recipient could survive the transplant especially with immuno-suppressant drugs necessary.
But maybe it’s all in the spirit of Mengele, with the recipients handy experimental subjects.

And the stories about organ harvesting have been coming out of China for many years.
This does not sound very credible. As others have pointed out, the immunosuppressive therapy required for a successful transplant would defeat the purpose of protecting anyone from coronavirus. Also, it is very difficult to understand what benefit a lung transplant would have in a case of coronavirus.
Of course, it is well to keep in mind that Stalin and Mao DID starve and murder tens or hundreds of millions of their own citizens, the Japanese DID savagely murder hundreds of thousands of Chinese both in the Rape of Nanking and in the aftermath of the Doolittle Raid, and the Germans did industrially murder millions of Jews even using their hair and teeth in the war effort.
The point I make is, they are Communist regimes. They are capable of anything.
Removing the organs from people who they deem transgressors legally or politically is nothing to them.
Nothing at all.

Think about it. A lung transplant is a serious life-or-death procedure that would leave the recipient very vulnerable. And the virus would easily infect the new lung, making the whole thing a waste of time. Though I could see a couple instances of this happening of Satan decides to call Winnie the Pooh or some other very high level Chicom hellspawn home, as a futile act of final desparation before the fires of Hell consume them.
I just don’t see this as anything of a truly regular occurence, as it’s not even something remotely likely to be effective.
