Beyond the multiple incidents of food contamination, poison dog food, and toxic kids toys...it takes a virus, that affects a minuscule amount of the population in comparison, to get the supply chain returned to our shores.

Trump said this continuously during his campaign. He could use this reliance on China as a campaign issue if the dem/socs keep giving him crap. It would have to be subtle, but it should be restated. I can’t count the number of times he said, “Bring jobs and industry home”.
Of course the are sold out, so that doesn’t help at all, but Israel has some very capable breakthrough medical material.
Trump can issue his EO but if the goods and pharmaceuticals are not currently made here then what good will it do? EOs can be cancelled by the next administration. What corporation is going to invest in new manufacturing plants if they can be rendered unprofitable at the stroke of a pen by the next administration?
Those in our government who were responsible for initiating the importation of our antibiotics and other medical supplies from Communist China should be tarred and feathered.
Thank God we finally have a President who’s willing to reverse this outrageous and dangerous policy.

You have a right to your opinion. I’d like the choice. I prefer incandescent lighting. LED is too stark. There was no reason for freaking government to become involved to begin with except Bush was weak kneed and caved.

LEDs tend to have flicker, even if at a high frequency. Incandescents do too [60 hz], but they have a better time constant so it's not as evident when measured with appropriate test equipment.
The new toilets would likely work that much better without arbitrary limits on the amount of water they can use.
