You have a right to your opinion. I’d like the choice. I prefer incandescent lighting. LED is too stark. There was no reason for freaking government to become involved to begin with except Bush was weak kneed and caved.

LEDs tend to have flicker, even if at a high frequency. Incandescents do too [60 hz], but they have a better time constant so it's not as evident when measured with appropriate test equipment.

I agree with that part. I disagree with your premise. You can get LEDs with about any shade of incandescent look you want. I hated that the government got involved but the result was not all bad.

I use 5 LEDs in my bathroom for the cost of one 60 watt bulb, that is a plus in my opinion. In my garage I bought some bulb adapters that let me use 4 bulbs in one socket, I have more light than you can imagine all for the operating cost of less than a hundred watt, old style bulb.

Go to a store that handles a larger variety of LEDs and you can find a bulb that emits a shade of light that pleases you, I am sure of that.
