Whenever there’s a “deal” you can bet the ranch that the Republicans got short changed. They always do.
No all powerful, spy state can be trusted; ever.
Our fathers specifically disallow all of this.
It is only a matter of time until the unlimited state is run by evil and turned against We-The-People.

Fight for constitutional, limited government, or perish.
None of the people in any part of the federal government gives more than lip service to privacy and other constitutional rights, limited government, etc.
"The deal" is to make sure they hold power, and the public does not.
Sadly the Democrats and pseudo Democrats in the Senate like Collins and Romney will pass it there. Hope Trump has his veto pen ready.
