I know, I’m so old school I think we should still uphold the Constitution as written.
Including the natural born citizen requirement, which the main purpose of was to exclude the children of foreign nationals as they are born as foreign nationals just like their parents.
Before long most people in this country will view the Constitution as old school. They like the idea of governing (i.e., ruling) on the fly. It won’t work, of course, but we’ll have to suffer through a lot of national chaos, disruption and pain to eventually find that out.
I hate to say it but profound demographic and cultural changes have changed this once great country in deeply fundamental ways.
