Watching the politicians often lets you guess what their numbers are telling them. First, the dems hammering Trump after more than a few days tells me their numbers say it's working. Confirmation comes when Trump calls an emergency meeting out of the blue (and announcing it to the public). Interpretation: His advisors told him "your getting killed here, call a big meeting and look like you're in charge doing stuff"
