I have taken care of elderly patients for forty six years. I retired at sixty eight. I didn’t retire because of physical reasons (six cups of coffee and three Motrin is adequate to get anyone through an eight hour shift). I retired because I noticed a decline in my cognitive function.
I recognized early dementia in the person’s eyes. I could look at a patient and realize the couldn’t handle some medications. I described these people as “one synapse away from bat-shit crazy.” It’s in the eyes, look at the eyes!

Ha! One of my high school friends has been, for the last 15 years, been working exclusively with patients with dementia. She is looking to retire in the next year or two as well.

It all depends on how emotional Americans choose to be on any given day. The “media” propaganda efforts have been very effective in turning blame against Trump for Coronavirus.
The democrats are going to run a “running mate for president” campaign.
Whom ever is picked for Joe Biden’s running mate is the person Democrat’s will be voting for in November.
Joe will never make it a year in public office because those close to him will be running the country and that will not suit other democrats.

andJoe Biden . . . remained in the Senate . . . a span of 36 years. If history is any guide, that alone is a disqualifier in Biden's quest for the White House.
Not only so, but senator is actually a poor credential for a presidential run - no senator has ever beaten a sitting POTUS’ reelection bid - and it’s been since 1920 (Warren G. Harding’s victory in a wave election) that a senator has won an election against a governor for an open presidential seat.As for VP, that is a great credential for winning nomination but - since VP isn’t an executive but, similar to a prince, is political heir of the president - only wins you the general election if your president is Andrew Jackson or Ronald Reagan (or, we hope, Donald Trump).
Bottom line: presidents win reelection unless opposed by a governor, and probably even then. VPs come from the ranks of senators, mostly - and get nominated relatively easily but don’t get elected easily. Throw in the fact that Biden had too much experience having won statewide office before attaining the vice presidency, and that he is and appears to be overage.
It’s hard to believe that the Democrats will actually nominate him for POTUS. I’d worry more if Bloomberg actually got the nod. And I expect surprises before and during the Democrats’ convention.
“Biden will be closed out” ....
We may yet see Biden have a stroke or just pass out on stage. Biden is a blind man navigating a mine field, zig zagging across it.
His pick of VP just might be the one to put the knife in his back.
It's not determinitive, but that's the way to bet.
