Lesson #1 in Washington is that you never entrust an important job to a U.S. Senator. They invariably turn out to be dopey, feckless sh!tbags who can’t accomplish anything of substance.

My other gripe with Sessions is that he personified so much of what is wrong with conservative political figures in the U.S. these days. He’s a guy who teaches Sunday school and quotes the Bible at length on Sundays ... then goes to Washington and gets his ass kicked by pagans and Pharisees the rest of the week.
