Correct. The whole scare is now officially turning into a joke with proof that unless you’re over 70, you’re not that much at threat from this virus.
The number should be 69 years old or older. A 69 years old person with pre existing conditions passed away today from COVID-19 in NJ.
But your point remains true.
If you are less than 69 years old, in this country, a person with the Flu is more likely to die than a person with COVID-19.
Wash your hands with Jack Daniels and lick them dry and gargle with EverClear! But don’t spit out the EverClear!
If you are 70 or over or in bad health, it is: "Time to do a DNR or DO NOT RESUSCITATE ORDER:
A do-not-resuscitate order, or DNR order, is a medical order written by a doctor. It instructs health care providers not to do cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) if a patient's breathing stops or if the patient's heart stops beating.
What is a DNR and how is it created?
A DNR order is created, or set up, before an emergency occurs. A DNR order allows you to choose whether or not you want CPR in an emergency. It is specific about CPR.
We are Kaiser Members, and they have an electronic copy of our DNR wishes in their computer, which is accessible by any ER in the country as well as their doctors.
We discussed this with our adult sons, trust lawyer, regular lawyer, current FP at Kaiser, whom we have know for over a decade and our previous/now retired FP of 35 years and our priest. They all know our final desires.
This below is not how we want to finish our good lives here:
I’ll be 79 in August ans my husband will be 83 next month. We are not worried about it, First of all we don’t go anywhere where we could catch it. I don’t even go out of the hose except twice a month to get into my car when my son takes me to the Commissary to go grocery shopping. The only time my husband goes outside is to check the mail
