In a new Hulu documentary about her life and career in politics, former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton opens up about a number of things she’s fought against throughout her career, including Republicans.
But there’s one famous GOPer Clinton says she’ll “forever be grateful” to: former President George W. Bush.
As the documentary’s fourth episode recaps Clinton’s post-first lady life in politics — from her eight years as a New York senator to her time as the Secretary of State in the Obama administration — she talks about how the 9/11 attacks changed “everything” for her and other lawmakers used to the back-and-forth politics on Capitol Hill.
“Everything changed on September 11th,” says Clinton, 72, as the tone of the documentary sobers while recounting the worst terror attack that’s ever taken place on American soil.

Suddenly Hillary is all over various media, commenting about most everything. She has a documentary (about herself) coming out, and a new plastic face.
What is behind all this sudden burst of activity?
Pretty sure Hillary and Bill got along well with George Sr and Jr since they are all crooks covering for each other.
The Deep State Dems loved the guy seeing that he’s one of them!!!
The guy wasn’t all that bad until after the 2004 election. He acted like a moron after winning reelection by letting the Dems and the media deficate all over him and conservatism after Hurricane Katrina. Quite frankly, I think this relieved the Republican leadership since people were expecting them to be conservative having just won a solid majority.
That lack of leadership handed the Dems the House and Senate in 2006 (after Republicans had a 58 seat majority in the Senate and +40 seats in the House).
Not one to give up, Bush then decided to FINALLY get tough and take a stance on illegal immigration. His solution, a brilliant one according to top minds on the left, was offering up amnesty (I, uh, I’ll see ya at the signin’). He failed at that (thank God), then decided to drag conservatism through the mud by acting like a complete socialist after the banking handout crisis.
The cherry on top of this idiot’s legacy is being quiet while painting garbage like a mongoloid until Donald Trump entered the political arena. It was only then that W decided to speak out against Trump since his good friend Hillary was the wife of his brother from another mother(fu#$&er) (that wasn’t a curse word ... It’s supposed to be fuerher :-) ).
Like Mitt Romney John McCain, the guy is great when fighting Republicans, but had acting like a blithering idiot down pat when it came to helping Democrats.
I supported this man and feel like a complete moron having done so. I have blood on my hands for being a complicit idiot when it came to Iraq in that I thought his goal would be the removal of Saddam Hussein, not nation building (recall he was against that in the 2000 campaign). Now I’m left wondering if Hussein was killed since he knew to much about the worldwide Neocon wing of the Deep State.
I’ve formed an opinion that the current state of America was started by his daddy. HW Bush was also a Deep State ring leader. He was buddies with Bill Clinton before Clinton was on the national scene. Both of them wanted that “New World Order” that HW Bush often spoke about. You can’t tell me that Bush could squander a 90% approval rating in under a year during a POTUS campaign without intentionally doing so.
I will thank Bush for teaching me to not be so stupid to believe in anyone running for any public office and that one must be skeptical of anyone seeking power. He’s half the reason I wasn’t that enthused about Trump at first.

Grateful for $20 billion of taxpayer’s money. Easy to spend or allocate OPM (Other People’s Money). I don’t recall getting any thanks as a taxpayer, though a necessary expenditure at that time.
