How many billions of tax dollars and pounds should be spent on medical research and treatment for a disease that can be avoided by not doing what you obviously should not be doing? The story makes Castillejo a hero, but how many people did he infect with AIDS? Did he get to Copenhagen and London legally? The article does not ask these questions.

To think how many lives could have been saved with the same resources spent on someone who almost certainly got the disease through homosexual behavior, as almost all AIDS cases do.

“This is a unique position to be in, a unique and very humbling position,” he said. “I want to be an ambassador of hope.”

Translation: I found an angle to make a few $'s.

A behavior based disease. I have to admit, the LGBTXYZ was pretty clever in the way they marketed the case for funding a ‘cure’ - they had Quilt rallies, got sympathetic news coverage, threatened corporations to indoctrinate employees with the homosexual agenda, etc. They’ve been fairly successful.

will he stop bug/bum chasing?

If an alcoholic gets a new organ they have to accept lifestyle changes so as not to have the same problem again.

If the “self quarantined” approach being taken with the corona virus together with the testing of each individual having contact with an infected person, had been religiously taken with HIV, it would not have become the global scourge that it did. But that would have required an end to sexual promiscuity. Sexual promiscuity won, and HIV with it.

Reminds me of the joke in the 80s, where the gay man came out of the office all happy.....He was asked, “Why are you so happy?”, and he replied, “IT’S SYPHILIS!”

Funniest joke from that time:
What’s the worst thing about catching AIDS?
Having to convince your parents you’re Haitian...

Some context: When the AIDS epidemic really started to hit America, it was often called “4H Disease” after the people at most risk: Haitians,
