On Saturday night, 31 states and the District of Columbia reported at least one confirmed or presumptive positive case, with those cases totaling 372. Including those infected people repatriated from abroad, and those trapped aboard the quarantined cruise ship Grand Princess off San Francisco, the total is at least 442.
Washington state had the most cases with 103, including 16 deaths, followed by New York with 89 cases and California, with 81 cases and one death. Florida, which reports 11 cases, has also seen two fatalities.
In the interior of the country, a number of more sparsely populated states reported their first cases on Saturday, including Missouri, Indiana, Minnesota and Nebraska.
In Nebraska, there were dramatic scenes as a woman who tested positive for the virus was rushed from a community hospital to the nation's leading biocontainment unit at he University of Nebraska Medical Center Omaha.
The 36-year-old was photographed being transported to the facility in a hi-tech isolation pod late Friday.

Which is how it should be.
We’re both over 60 here and one of us is in HIGH RISK so we’re ready, prepared to self-isolate for prevention.
It is not unlike having a hurricane approaching in the Gulf. Some folks leave, some folks stay, some board up homes, some don’t. How and where landfall occurs and events play out yields losers and non-losers and survivors. Failing to plan for any event is planning to fail IMO.
Exactly. Prepare and plan according to your estimated risk.
Sod ConPubbie,
You’d be surprised at just how many of us there are. I’m a 33-year military vet. I’ve served this country in circumstances you could never contemplate in your wildest dreams.
Served in countries and under circumstances, you could not ever imagine.
Yet, I and my brothers went there. We fought, to death. Sacrificed our lives, our blood, our faces, and our limbs.
And, you have the nerve to call me/us out?
Who the hell are you? What great personal sacrifice for this great country have you ever made?
“The common cold is a corona virus. Sigh.”
And an atom bomb (or an ice cream sunday) is just a bunch of protons, neutrons, and electrons.
Let me choose which couple bits in a computer program to change and let’s see how its behavior changes.
You cannot possibly know that. The incubation time is anywheres from a day to 14 days or more and you seem to think everyone who comes in contact with this virus will die.
Last I heard all the deaths have been people mostly in their 70’s and in poor health.
or are we not getting the full story?

correct
“you seem to think everyone who comes in contact with this virus will die.” Excuse me? I certainly do not think that. Not even remotely. Good try.
PEARL CLUTCHER’S TO THE FORE!!!
ALL TOGETHER NOW
OMG, OMG WE’RE ALL GONNA DIEEEEEEE!!!
Post was not meant for you.
Sorry
Where are all the people posting they survived Wuhan from China? Did they flood the internet and we all missed it? Or are they all dead? Wuhan is still locked down.
It appears to be deadly to the elderly...because it hasnt hit a grammar school yet.
hird World countries where diseases that are far worse than this are prevalent
```
but they were naturally occurring diseases ...
The machines are probably made in China and the factory is shut because all the workers are either welded into their apartments, in sealed quarantine centers - aka hospitals, or dead and awaiting cremation
The nursing home in WA State was using a CPAP machine and a nebulizer you couldnt ask for a better way to spray virus droplets all over the place. The firefighters attending the patients there said none of the nursing home staff were wearing any PPE.
——————————————————————————————16 of the 19 nationwide deaths came from Washington state, almost all of them at the nursing home. Washington state is really messing up the statistics for nationwide occurrence.
Actually, our deaths should not even be counted since Washington state has basically seceded from the union long ago.
So in the real USA there are three deaths.
Good/terrible catch!
Why must you ridicule.
So the wife of the superspreader in Westchester County, who was obviously of necessity tested when there really had to be serious cause for the test has gone onto Facebook to tell everyone how they detailed to authorities and contacted those at risk just as soon as his test came back positive.
Dontcha think a heads up as soon as they decided he needed the test would have been in order?
The problem, obviously, is that all of the other facilities will be full as well.
This should be called the Joseph and Mary virus, because there wont be room at any inn.
It isnt scalable. We should have over one million cases by May as long as CoV continues on its curve. CoV care will displace other conditions. Forget elective surgery (except elites of course) CA, cardiac care will be reduced or nearly eliminated. Doctors from all specialties drafted into corona virus care. I heard NHS guy from UK talking about inviting doctors to come out of retirement and letting med students perform functions of doctors,
“There is simply no way to know how many have been exposed and have had mild reactions and a fast recovery.”
Not directly, but genetic studies studies of the virus’ mutation history over time gives clues as to how many viral generations have occured in the community. Similar analysis of coexisting mutations allows inferences to be made about the infected population size.
