If,by chance,she's elected *and* the Rats hold the House you can bet your bottom dollar that the Rat Speaker will refuse to seat her.
IIRC both the House and the Senate can refuse to seat someone for various reasons...despite the results of any election that might have occurred.

Judd however, fell short by gaining only 40.65% of the vote in the closed election
