[ALWAYS and I mean always, we book only last minute cruises, if there is deep discount. That is a benefit of living in Florida. 40 minutes drive to cruise terminal in Jacksonville and 90 minutes from Port Canaveral. The previous cruise 3 months ago was discounted to $100 per person on Norwegian for a 5 day cruise. Because it was scheduled to sail for Cuba and that got cancelled. Add port taxes of courses of about $130/pp and tips. These 5 day cruises cost us $600-650 for two. We can barely get a decent hotel room for 5 nights for that money. And you must buy all your food and entertainment.]

Thanks. It’s been decades since I’ve been on a cruise. I may start looking around for deals. The current climate of overwrought hysteria may just be the ticket for the deal of a decade. What’s your sweet spot for last minute? 6 weeks? A month? Do you book directly with the cruise line or do you have a preferred website that covers all the cruise lines?

Start your search here:
https://www.vacationstogo.com/
Then narrow down by dates, ports of departure, length of cruise, then sort by price by clicking on price header.
