Mitt Romney became persona non grata in certain parts of the conservative movement last month by becoming the first senator of a presidents own party to ever vote to remove them from office.
Romney indicated Thursday that he is skeptical about the need for the Senate Homeland Security Committee to issue a subpoena related to Hunter Bidens work for Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian energy company.
I would prefer that investigations are done by an independent, nonpolitical body, Romney told The Posts Mike DeBonis. Theres no question the appearance is not good.
Republicans have a 8-to-6 majority, meaning Romneys vote, when combined with the six Democrats on the committee, would deadlock it at 7-7 and prevent the subpoena from being issued.

Maybe Romney is afraid his own name will be revealed in any investigations...

Someone should tell the moron that impeachment was a political investigation maneuver, of which he voted to convict. He is a two faces piece of crap.

I saw people recommending that Milt Willard, The Unparalleled Piece Of Mitt, be removed from his committee assignments after the peachy backstab.
They were correct about the reeking pile of dogMitt.

That sounds utopian, not real.
And if a so-called independent, nonpolitical body is corrupt, what is the check and balance.
There's none of course.

Sounds like a good guide line for when they investigate Romney.

I hope you’re right - would be poetic justice for Mitt (Mr. “My religious convictions guide me”) to be caught up in the web of the Ukraine corruption.
