Now that the Democratic Party has all but consolidated behind decrepit Joe Biden to keep unelectable socialist Bernie Sanders off the top of its ticket, it's worth a snicker to consider President Obama, behind the scenes, suddenly realizing he's going to have to endorse idiot Joe Biden for president, a man he considers unfit for the office.
Obama had withheld his endorsement for his faithful former vice president, which was pretty humiliating for Joe, a man Joe had touted as his "best friend" to the NAACP. Biden claimed he asked for no endorsement, which no one believed. Obama claimed he was waiting till after primaries. The real reason leaked out, though: that Obama doesn't think Biden is up to the job.
According to last August 17's New York Post:
"You don't have to do this, Joe, you really don't," the former president told Biden before the front-runner entered the race, insiders told the New York Times.
Biden has repeatedly cited his relationship with his old boss as he touts his credentials on the campaign trail — but Obama has asked Biden staffers to make sure the gaffe-prone veep does not "damage his legacy" or "embarrass himself" during his run.

Former presidents always have endorsed a candidate of their party in a presidential primary. Why not Obama?
How do people know that Obama told Joe that? When they were in the White House, I didn’t hear stories of them fighting. I think Obama should have endorsed him.
IF “Zero” does not what will that do to the party that is already divided. I can see the dilemma of needing to endorse and what happens if he doesn’t. This could give the Comrade Sanders a bump.
Obama will endorse his wife.

Who do Carter and Clinton endorse?
I assumed it was people associated with Obama because Obama could reassemble his team and have access to the WH again. Biden would just be their figurehead.
If he does not endorse Joe at this point there is definitely something going on here we don’t know yet.
He Chose Biden exactly because he knew he was a loser creep.

I just looked it up, and it said that he voted Sanders in 2016, but is keeping an open mind this time.
He’s saving his endorsement for his wife, er husb...er uh that thing he was seen with a lot a few years ago.
Probably because 'ol Joe knew his way through & around the labyrinth that is Washington....and the Obama handlers could handle the Biden handlers.....something like that.
Obama likely does not want to endorse a White man, especially a straight one. Also, he has first hand experience with Joe.
