Republican lawmakers are surprised and disappointed by the results of Super Tuesday, which firmly re-established former Vice President Joe Biden as the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination and dealt Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) a major setback.

Operation Chaos was a little too obvious. Of course the Dems are gonna vote against the guy Republicans are said to be loudly supporting because he is the weaker candidate. Better to stay out altogether, shtum and let the dice fall where they may.
Most of the proggies around here will be studying their little hearts out in the lead up to exams. Hate Trump they may, but don’t forget that they also hate Biden who they associate with everything that is wrong with establishment Democrats. Sanders was always going to have a turn out problem in November, and to top it off he has poisoned the well for establishment Dems.
I think the GOP could do well if they keep to Trump-style populism and if they do not overreach.
Turns out Trump did not say what you claim. So as usual the Never Trumper clown posse around here is mindlessly regurgitating the Fake New talking points.
You people are prime examples of why Conservative Inc is the most politically ineffective political movement in history. You all are mindless sheep lead around by the nose by the Fake news.
You all can be counted on to be bloviating Democrat Propaganda bots knee jerk trash talking your own side instead of ever finding the guts to fight the Left on anything.
Republicans have gotten a lot less smart if they are supporting socialist Sanders.
Its an assumption & I don’t want to look to confirm!
It’s early stage. You don’t want to know what late stage is like. It’s primal horror.
lol
I never said he was funny.
The only thing Biden will have going for him during his run against Trump will be the sympathy vote. It wont be a pretty sight watching Trump take Biden apart during the debates. Who doesnt have a loved one theyve lost to age related dementia? Trump will have to show compassion when warranted.
Operation Chaos operatives in one state did choose to vote for Bernie.
Blunder. Romney likely to be picked as Biden’s running mate. A healing ticket to bring the nation together.
No. I may have paraphrased slightly but I heard the excerpt on Fox News. It was still not a wise remark and borderline irresponsible.
Point is, he’s often a buffoon with absolutely no filter. I can look past it because I’m not voting for a Pope or Noble Laureate but still....
you forget four things,
1)the media support of Dems, you will no longer hear about gaffes or the official line they are pedaling: gaffe is preferable to Trump lies,
2) midwest swing states-Trump won 4 states with just $40,000 Biden is more popular and with someone from Midwest as VP?
3) Bloomberg’s money -he is still pledging to spend hundreds of millions -while he failed to get nomination he was able to move up his name with ads from 1% to 15%
4) economy: This is the big one and what the election hangs on. Lots of media coverage on Corona virus is aimed at creating panic and tanking economy (Shame on FR posters here with their “live Thread” reporting these media post adding to it)
so we have to work hard and make stop the panic on this virus-if the economy slows-well it’s bad
I definitely agree with #4. This virus scare is so over hyped it can only be for the purpose of disrupting the economy on Trump’s watch.

There are other recent Trump tweets regarding Bernie. Many are like this one. About how Warren being in the race was keeping voters away from Bernie.
The Dem super-delegates don’t vote on the first ballot.
Now that it’s down to a 2 man race (with Warren out), there’s every chance Bernie could make it to the convention with a majority of the delegates. Making the super-delegates moot.
The Mass vote numbers were way outside the margin of Error (4%). Bernie got 8% less than predicted, while Biden got 15% more than predicted.
I read that several other states had similar voting anomalies on the Democrat side. It looks like the DNC may not be taking any chances.
It’s a type of flu. And, like all flu, the warm weather will mitigate its spread.
She’s 81. Wow.
They are determined to not have Bernie as the nominee at all costs.
I thought Warren was a DNC shill too, as her staying in would have hurt Bernie. The fact that she got out and isn’t endorsing anyone shows she’s playing her own game.
In a 2 man race, Bernie has a decent chance of grabbing a majority of delegates.
