I suspect the only reason she’s still in the race is that the Dem Establishment wanted her to act as the spoiler for Sanders. These “talks” are probably just for show. She certainly doesn’t want Sanders and his supporters to think that was the conspiracy.
Me think em pale face Bernie offers Pocahontas a Veep em, then smoke pipe will be lit em. Ugh em!
Well she just dropped out of the race, so the “spoiler” theory is out the window.
I hope Bernie’s first comment in the negotiations is that he says, “I TOLD you a woman can never be president!”
Not so. She accomplished her mission. Her tally in the next primary would be negligible anyway so there was no point to staying in after Tuesday. And if she had stayed in then people would begin to talk openly that she was just trying to act as the spoiler. That would make the Sanders supporters mad and be self defeating for the Dem Establishment so she got out before that talk began.
I think her supporters all like Sanders’ policies. They’ll go big for Sanders. And that will blow Biden out of the water. Tulsi is still a dark horse. She can’t win but she might pick up delegates from folks desperate to have someone else to vote for....I’ll bet Democrat young guys will go for her. Let’s see if she picks up some tiny states and gets a few scores of delegates. She hardly campaigns...she just sort of keeps her name in there.
Not a chance. She will not endorse Bernie. She stayed in the race to cripple him in New England. Mission accomplished so now she’s out.
Of course, she could. What politician cannot pivot on a dime if it serves self-interest?
