The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Santa Clara County climbed to 14 Wednesday as the county health department announced three new cases.
All three cases are men, according to the health department. One is currently in the hospital. His exposure to the virus is under investigation. The two other men are close contacts to an existing case. They are isolated at home.
Earlier Wednesday, Placer County Public Health confirmed that a resident died of COVID-19, marking the first coronavirus death reported in California.
Officials also report "presumptive cases" of coronavirus in Alameda (1), San Mateo (1), Solano (1) and Sonoma (1) counties. Information in this chart does not include cases tied to the Diamond Princess cruise ship.

Case #13 and #14 – both adult males, are close contacts of an existing case. They are in isolation at home.

Case #8 – adult male household contact of a confirmed case in another county. He is under home isolation.
Case #9 – an adult male household contact of a previously confirmed case in Santa Clara County. He is also under home isolation.

Case #6 and #7 – a husband and wife. Both are hospitalized, and the husband has chronic health conditions. The couple has recently traveled to Egypt.
Case #5 – adult woman with chronic health conditions who is hospitalized.

Case #4 –adult woman who is a household contact of case #3. She is not hospitalized or ill.

Case #3 – adult woman with chronic health conditions who was hospitalized for a respiratory illness. This person does not have a travel history nor any known contact with a traveler or infected person.

Case #2 – adult female who had traveled to Wuhan, China and had been self-isolating at home. She was never hospitalized.

Case #1 – adult male who had traveled to Wuhan, China and had been self-isolating at home. This case was released from isolation, fully recovered. He was never hospitalized.
California has ignored their homeless populations. The
Mexican beer virus is creeping in on those shooting

The public health authorities have to be scared to death of it getting into the thousands of homeless camps from San Ysidro, CA to Bellingham, WA. Once that starts, how would you stop it?
I’d like to know where they have been. Did they go to grocery stores? Gasoline Station?
California only gives a damn about the homeless when it comes time to harvest the votes.
I’m guessing lots of Communist Chinese H1Bs returning from holiday will infect large swaths of the US. It’s Communist biological warfare on the US and the world.

Agreed. The sharing of needles is bad enough, and
god knows w&at diseases this action promotes. Once
Corona virus takes hold, I am sure the death rate
will climb. The homeless do not care about
politics or their personal health issues. They’ve
given up on the hard work and sweat of the American
dream. Or they never had the drive to begin with.

Didnt our leadership just propose the federal government will step in.. aka Vailout CA homeless crisis. That was money from your wallet to destitute CA. Homeless crisis = money. Heck yeah, they are important. Why would you fix a problem if someone would send you money to keep it front and center.
The older you get, the more pre-existing conditions you have. :-)
